MORE WAYS TO GIVE

The Greenburgh Nature Center is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

Cash Contributions: Cash gifts can be made online by accessing Give Once or Give Monthly. Checks can be payable to: Greenburgh Nature Center and sent to: Greenburgh Nature Center, 99 Dromore Road, Scarsdale, NY 10583.

Memorial/Tribute Gifts: We are honored to help you memorialize or celebrate someone you care about through a gift to the Greenburgh Nature Center. We will send an acknowledgement letter to the person or family you wish to honor, letting them know you have made a contribution. Unless requested, we do not include the gift amount.

The  Greenburgh Nature Center also offers tribute opportunities for benches and other on-site naming opportunities. Please contact the Director of Development and Marketing for more information (contact information below).

Gifts of Stock: Gifts of appreciated securities can provide donors with excellent tax advantages, as there are no capital gains taxes on the appreciation.

Matching Gifts: Many corporations match their employee’s charitable contributions. This is an excellent way for current and retired employees and their spouses to double or triple their gift! Your human resources office will have the necessary forms to apply if you work for a company with a matching gift program.

Planned Giving: Planned giving can help you to make a meaningful charitable gift that benefits the long-term financial strength of the Nature Center, while obtaining significant tax advantages for yourself. Please consult with your professional advisor when considering making a charitable planned gift.

If you have any questions about giving to the Nature Center, please contact Margaret Tjimos Goldberg, Executive Director at mtjimosgoldberg@greenburghnaturecenter.org or 914-813-1837.
