Internships
The Greenburgh Nature Center (GNC) offers two six-month internships annually. One runs that January through June and one that runs July through December.
The GNC is located in a suburb only 40 minutes north of New York City. We have a live animal museum, two exhibit rooms and walking trails on the surrounding 33-acre property.
The primary role of the intern is to teach nature and animal programs to children between the ages of 2-8. The intern will also assist in the care and maintenance of the animals and their facilities and help supervise the activities of our high school volunteers. We provide training for our nature education and the care of our animals.
