Volunteer
The Greenburgh Nature Center (GNC) relies on the help of dedicated volunteers for many aspects of the center's operations, including animal husbandry, trail maintenance, gardening, assistance at special events, and interaction with our many visitors.
There are also opportunities to assist our administrative staff with special projects, including marketing and membership at community events.
The Ambassador Program
The Ambassador Program is specific volunteer program we offer. Ambassadors provide helpful information to visitors about our grounds, exhibits, special programs, and the benefits of membership. These diverse positions are available throughout the year for adults and high school students (age 14 and older).
