The Greenburgh Nature Center offers preschool students the opportunity to spend a morning or afternoon exploring nature and learning about ecology through experiential, hands-on fun.
Mother Nature’s Storytime (Ages 2 – 4)
Children, along with a parent or caregiver, enjoy days at the Nature Center with nature-themed stories, nature walks, live animals, and/or crafts. Dress for outdoor activity. Except in extreme weather conditions, a portion of each class is spent outdoors. Class size limited to 12. Pre-registration is required and there are no refunds.

Young Explorers’ Storytime (Ages 3 – 5)
Join us for a unique storytime experience as children, with a parent or caregiver, are immersed in a nature-themed story with opportunities to engage with our animals and enjoy the Nature Center’s fields and forests. Plan for a portion of each class to be spent outdoors. This is a drop-in program, no pre-registration is required.

WeePaint* (Ages 2 – 4)
Children, with a parent or caregiver, explore new art materials, experience new textures, learn to be creative in a group setting and socialize with other children. Instructor is artist Nitasha Kumar. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required.
Fridays, 10:30 AM – 11:15 AM (eight-week session)
Fee per 8 week session: $180/child. If you join mid-session, the fee will be pro-rated.
